At present, my country's pet and pet industry's fashionable consumer groups
In recent years, pet ownership has become fashionable in major cities and suburbs. With the gradual increase in the number of dog lovers, there are hundreds of large-scale dog breeding institutions. Correspondingly, pet hospitals, pet food stores, pet supply stores, and pet grooming shops have also emerged and have their own fixed consumer groups. In my country, the career prospects of pet health care workers are very promising. Their main tasks are: (1) pet breeding and disease prevention; (2) daily health care and management of pets; (3) scientific grooming of pets (non-surgical); (4) on-site rescue, illness care, post-operative care, and rehabilitation care for injured and sick pets. At present, the number of people engaged in the pet service industry in my country has surged to more than 1 million, and those engaged in pet medical care and nursing account for about 10%. The pet service industry is more developed abroad, with hundreds of millions of US dollars in revenue every year. Veterinarians, pet groomers, and pet photographers—these are relatively new industries that have emerged out of demand, but they require highly specialized skills. Looking at the current state of pet hospitals, pet owners typically spend nearly 100 yuan per month on grooming and routine checkups, averaging around 300 yuan per visit. Some pet hospitals even offer services such as buying and selling pets, selling pet supplies and food, pet boarding, and pet grooming.
